All accounts with bounced emails, full inboxes, unreachable domains or one page/under construction domains will be deleted without prior notice.
All private account information is masked on this board and all information is kept confidential.
Your IP is logged when you register and is verified to your email address and/or domain name.
Please allow 24 hours for account activation.
Each user is entitled to ONE user account on the forums. We employ various tools which are effective in accurately detecting duplicate accounts. Registering additional accounts will result in temporary suspension to your main account and a permanent ban on your second (and subsequent) accounts.
Forum Rules
General Board Rules:
MEOA Forum welcomes all members. The objective of MEOA Forum is to provide a place to gather, discuss and share. Few things will get your posts deleted or get yourself banned so please read and familiarise yourself with the rules below and other specific sub-forum rules:
Do not engage in activities prohibited by Malaysian law.
Do not troll or flame. Do not intentionally post inflammatory message.
Do not discuss, distribute, or link to pirated software, pornography or any other material which is prohibited by any Malaysian law.
Do not post political or religious topics anywhere in the forums. Do not spread political propaganda, racial vilification or religious hatred or contempt anywhere in the forums.
Do not spam, post unconstructively or open multiple threads with similar messages.
Do not abuse the PM system. Do not send unsolicited messages, however well intentioned. A single PM is sufficient to constitute spam.
Do not advertise any company, website, product or services. Do not make any commercially orientated posts or posts for personal financial gain without prior permission from an administrator. Do not post any referral links or codes, either on the boards or in your signature.
Do not engage in activities prohibited by Malaysian law.
Do not use profanities or vulgarities, sexual innuendos, sexist or discriminating comments of any nature.
Do not post personal or private information of another person. This includes the real name, a photograph, phone number, address, employment history whether or not that information is publicly available. Do respect the privacy of others.
Do not post unless you have something to contribute.
Do obey the directions of a moderator or trade enforcer at all times. This includes not reopening a thread closed by a moderator.
Above all, do be polite and courteous to all.
The above rules are non-exhaustive. Breach of any rules will result in a temporary suspension of your account which includes all posting privileges and PM access. Multiple breaches may result in permanent suspension of your account.
When suspended, you may appeal to hello@meoa.org.my with valid grounds. Such grounds may include misconstrued intentions, a clean history and previous constructive posts.
General Forum Etiquette:
The official language of MEOA Forum is the English language. All threads and posts must be in English. The moderating team's duty is to ensure the smooth going of forums they are in charge in and to prevent any conflicts between members from starting. Moderators have at their discretion a right to moderate any thread that are found to be inappropriate or in violation with board or sub-forum rules. The moderating team will act based on board policy and guidelines and not a personal point of view.
